The Band
Was founded by Ross Meyers as a one man show in 2005, transformed into a duo with Dilaine in 2017 and then became a trio Winter of 2018 with the addition of Tracy Joy. The Radiant Beings play Americana, classic rock, country-blues, pop, folk and a few other miscellaneous genres. TRB is easy listening. They bring a warm, joyful sound to the stage that makes the listener feel like they are in their own living room, basking in the presence of friendly company and classic tunes.

Ross Meyers
Talented singer, acoustic & electric guitarist, percussionist, composer, sound engineer, mentor, encouraging collaborator and all around good guy! Ross’s humble personality would never give away the depth & richness of his impressive career in advanced cell therapies. He has been performing for 40+ years. After going through some musical training in middle & high school, Ross quickly found friends he connected with who could collaborate as a band. Over the years, Ross’s passion for playing music evolved into skilled performance. Everywhere Ross has lived since then, he has performed as a solo artist and established a network of talented musicians who could collaborate on new projects with him. His talent as a musician is rich on it’s own but his ability to find, collaborate with, and encourage other musicians to better their skills and show up in new spaces is profoundly unique. Ross is known and loved by many musicians across the United States.
Ross has memorized over 3-4 hours of repertoire. He can play multiple parts for everything he does. Ross records and produces music at his own studio, manages all of the sound equipment used by TRB, and he has written some original works.

Tracy Joy
A seasoned professional whose sound radiates the brilliance of Tracy’s joy and the warmth of her devotion. Tracy studied classical cello and was the principal cellist for several symphony orchestras in Michigan before, during, and after graduating from Central and Northern Michigan Universities.
She has played professionally with symphony orchestras in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan for more than 35 years. She has taught over 100 string students privately as well as in public and private schools. Prior to the Radiant Beings, Tracy was a member of another live-acoustic band called String of Pearls based in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Tracy studied classical music with Dr. Ernest Lloyd, a graduate of The Juilliard School of music. Dr. Lloyd studied privately with the world renowned cellist, Pablo Casals - known to be one of ‘the greatest cellists of all time’. Tracy has performed live with The Dave Brubeck trio as well Jackson and Almeda Berkey of Mannheim Steamroller.
Improvising with new genres has been a challenging yet freeing experience for her. When Tracy is not at her day job or hangin’ out with The Radiant Beings, she enjoys outdoor activities such as horseback riding and camping.

Dilaine E
Began formally deepening her study of music 17 years ago. She was sponsored in classical training at age 12 and continued through elementary school, middle, high school, into college and beyond. Her passion deepened through the encouragement of multiple teachers & the joy of collaborating with fellow music students & friends.
Dilaine has played as a first & second violin in the Marquette Symphony Orchestra, concert Master of the Marquette Senior High School and Northern Michigan University, 2nd stand 1st violin of the Appleton North High School Symphony Orchestra, 1st chair 2nd violin in the Edgewood Chamber Orchestra 2013-15 & 19. Dilaine earned highest level rankings in solo & ensemble 2006 - 2010.
Ross Meyers inspired Dilaine to try improvising with him in 2017. She has been hooked ever since and now feels that solo improvisation & creative collaboration with musicians from all walks of life is her ultimate musical pursuit. She is happily building a lifetime full of musical freedom & fun.
